I. As the Loss  Prevent and Control Coordinator, I will need to conduct a training(s) to supervisors and/or managers before February 13, 2015 to fulfill requirements mandated by the GSD Risk Management Division.
Topics that are required to be cover are -
1. It is required that training be provided to supervisors on relate pertinent loss prevention and control information to the worker. This training in employment-related civil rights is critical to loss prevention and control and provides managers
and supervisors with techniques necessary for treating all state employees in a fair and consistent manner.

2. Federal law, including, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and state law, including the Human Rights Act
(Sections 28-1-1 and following NMSA 1978), and other applicable laws and regulations, protect against civil rights violations on the job. Training on these provisions must be included in loss prevention and control training on a continuing basis which must discuss loss prevention and control policies, procedures, and strategies with employees, individually and at group training sessions.

II. Also look Lorena Rue and myself will be conducting safety inspections at all R9 worksites before February 13, 2015.

III. I plan on working with supervisors on re-evaluating Non-Exempt and Exempt employee status to see if changes need to be made.
